Cajun restaurant Off the Hook opens in Walker.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Off The Hook, a quick casual Cajun restaurant, has officially opened a location in Walker.

The new location, 28910 S. Walker Road, is the chain’s seventh restaurant. Off the Hook serves fish and shrimp platters, chicken and sausage gumbo, po-boys, hushpuppies, Etouffee, red beans and rice and chicken tenders.

An Off the Hook recently opened at 2319 South Range Ave. in Denham Springs. Other locations can be found in Gonzales, Baton Rouge, Houma, Thibodaux and Hammond.

“Off The Hook was founded with a simple idea in mind: To share with you our love for Cajun foods and culture in a timely manner. Our goal is to promote signature family recipes that capture the bold, authentic flavors of the region with the speedy convenience of a quick-service restaurant,” Chief Executive Officer Paxton Moreaux told Louisiana First News.
