Off The Hook Restaurants: A Look Back at an Incredible 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, Off The Hook Restaurants are proud to reflect on a year filled with growth, bold flavor, community impact, and exciting new partnerships rooted in true Louisiana spirit. From launching the first-ever Shrimp Season to opening new locations and supporting meaningful causes across the state, 2025 has been a milestone year that celebrates everything we love about Cajun food and culture. Here is a look back at the moments that made this year unforgettable.
Shrimp Season Takes Center Stage Across Louisiana
One of the biggest highlights of 2025 was the launch of Off The Hook’s inaugural Shrimp Season. This limited-time celebration featured wild-caught Louisiana shrimp tossed in a Tabasco brand Pepper Jelly Sauce, bringing guests a seasonal menu that was fast, fresh, and deeply rooted in Gulf tradition.
WWL-TV showcased the launch, shining a spotlight on our commitment to local seafood and the flavors that define South Louisiana. With shrimp sourced directly from Louisiana fisheries, Shrimp Season represented both culinary creativity and dedication to supporting local producers.
Two signature items quickly became guest favorites. The Pepper Jelly Hook Salad offered a refreshing mix of romaine, cherry tomatoes, bacon, shredded cheese, and Gulf shrimp tossed in the tangy pepper jelly sauce, finished with blackened ranch. The Pepper Jelly Shrimp Wrap delivered a sweet and savory bite with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, chipotle sauce, and jelly-glazed shrimp wrapped in a soft tortilla. Shrimp Season hit its peak on National Shrimp Day, May 10, with all-day shrimp platters available for only 5.99. The celebration brought a wave of guests across every Off The Hook location and created a new annual tradition for seafood lovers.

A Spicy Partnership With Tabasco Makes Headlines
No Louisiana story is complete without Tabasco, and 2025 marked one of our strongest partnerships yet. Off The Hook teamed up with the legendary Avery Island brand to bring Tabasco brand Pepper Jelly Sauce to our seasonal menu. Media across the country, including QSR Magazine, SeafoodSource, and ChiseNews, highlighted how two Louisiana originals united to elevate the flavor of fast casual seafood.
The collaboration honored more than 150 years of Tabasco heritage and showcased how deeply both brands are connected to the Bayou. Guests loved the sweet heat of the pepper jelly sauce, and the partnership opened the door for future seasonal creations that celebrate Louisiana flavor.

New Locations Bring Cajun Flavor to More Communities
2025 was also a year of expansion as Off The Hook continued to grow throughout Louisiana. A new restaurant opened in Walker, drawing attention from Louisiana First News for its lineup of seafood platters, Po’boys, gumbo, etouffee, and more. Another location opened in Zachary, with a grand opening attended by the community and giveaways for the first guests.
These new restaurants join existing locations in Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Houma, Hammond, Denham Springs, and Thibodaux, strengthening Off The Hook’s presence as the leading fast casual Cajun restaurant in the state.

Community Support Remains at the Heart of Our Mission
Giving back has always been central to Off The Hook, and 2025 was no exception. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the brand raised 8,298 dollars for the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center through its Give Cancer The Boot campaign. Funds supported patient assistance, free screenings, education programs, and vital services throughout Baton Rouge and beyond.
Off The Hook also continued its tradition of partnering with local organizations, including offering support during natural disasters and contributing to causes that uplift the communities where we live and serve.
Celebrating Louisiana Favorites Like Blue Plate and Tabasco
Throughout the year, our continued partnerships with iconic Louisiana brands helped us bring the rich, familiar tastes of Louisiana to every Off The Hook restaurant. Blue Plate Mayonnaise remained a staple on all Po’boys, adding its classic Southern creaminess to every bite. And, as always, a bottle of Tabasco sat on every table, reminding guests that great Louisiana flavor often starts with a simple shake.

A Year of Growth, Flavor, and Louisiana Pride
From Shrimp Season to new restaurant openings to meaningful partnerships, 2025 was a year that truly captured the spirit of Off The Hook. Our mission remains the same as the day we opened: to serve authentic Cajun food made from family recipes with fast casual convenience and Louisiana heart.
Guests can look forward to even more bold flavors and new traditions in 2026, packed with authentic Cajun flavors and Louisiana hospitality.
